"while we will be the last to oppress we will be the last to be driven from our post--peace be still bury the hatchet & the sword.-- the sound of war is dreadful in my ear. any man who will not fight for his wife & children is a coward & a bastard."

we control? the only thing we can control is what we choose to do and accept the consequence of those actions. At times, there are those that commit actions that affect others, and I believe there is a Deity that allows this atrocities to occur in order to allow true justice to be vetted when judgment finally comes..... education, real education is the answer.....trust in the innate light in individuals to distinguish right from wrong, good from evil....we need to awake those faculties in humanity, in so doing we then begin to make a shift toward truly removing these things....if the same gov't that can't fix a fiscal cliff, what a fricking sham, they prevented themselves from shutting down, ya right, they will print more money....in god we trust was a misprint, the printer forgot to place the L so it would be in GOLD we trust.....which is false now too.....

i grew up around weapons...i handled them, i learned their ultimate purpose... i was taught how to use them...in learning those things, I learned to respect the tool, and it was ingrained in me to only teach those how to wield their power when they demonstrated trust enough to do so.....i have learned a great deal of things throughout my education....in fact i have learned things in such a manner that i could probably single handedly destroy a good portion of the world.....but i was taught in a family, the core unit of society to seek something greater than myself. in so doing i discovered Deity and my faith.....after being awakened i then set out for 2 years to introduce people to my faith while a missionary in France. in this heavily controlled country, i had a gun pulled on me by a young algerian boy....now i don't know why i was involved in this situation, but i can tell you this, gun control in america will leave us unprotected to the tyrannous who would have it that way....now i don't know why the 2nd amendment is being leveraged as a smokescreen right now, but i do know that our eyes, our hearts are failing us while our minds say 'gun control this, gun control that'....

we are such hypocrites b/c what will be next that will require us to say opposite than what we know to be true.....i don't feel we need weapons for more than protection....as one i esteem great once said "while we will be the last to oppress we will be the last to be driven from our post--peace be still bury the hatchet & the sword.-- the sound of war is dreadful in my ear. any man who will not fight for his wife & children is a coward & a bastard."

I am beginning to understand things differently than ever before...

1st Nephi Chpater 8: 19 - 25 [http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/1-ne/8.19-24?lang=eng]

19 And I beheld a arod of iron, and it extended along the bank of the river, and led to the tree by which I stood. 20 And I also beheld a astrait and narrow path, which came along by the rod of iron, even to the tree by which I stood; and it also led by the head of the fountain, unto a large and spacious field, as if it had been a bworld. 21 And I saw numberless concourses of people, many of whom were apressing forward, that they might obtain the bpath which led unto the tree by which I stood. 22 And it came to pass that they did come forth, and commence in the path which led to the tree. 23 And it came to pass that there arose a amist of darkness; yea, even an exceedingly great mist of darkness, insomuch that they who had commenced in the path did lose their way, that they wandered off and were blost. 24 And it came to pass that I beheld others pressing forward, and they came forth and caught hold of the end of the rod of iron; and they did press forward through the mist of darkness, aclinging to the rod of iron, even until they did come forth and partake of the bfruit of the tree. 25 And after they had partaken of the fruit of the tree they did cast their eyes about as if they were aashamed.
