UPDATED:  CLOSED during the 2016 Calendar year .

ok...i have been to the Gaucho Grill....a lot of learning needs to happen, but this venture just may be worthwhile and successful....Although most of the meat was over/under-cooked, the staff and 'Gauchos' were nice, considerate and welcoming. Their support servers need to exude more confidence and do so fast...management seemed young but their youth and exuberance made up for their lack of experience...
It was a good environment...very light and airy for the spacing issues there....You may want to call ahead with a reservation and expect 20 bux/person for the whole buffet and 'Gaucho' cutting meat and other tasty offerings selection....

Now to the real part....is it comparable to Rodizio Grill???....no, not even close...Gaucho-goers will come to understand that the chefs are still learning how to use their ovens....the Terriyaki beef and tri-tip were both over-cooked and over marinated...their top sirloin was undercooked and should have melted in the mouth, but unfortunately did not....passed on the chicken hearts....their bacon wrapped meats were their best offerings, but inconsistent....

definitely in the realms of a 2 star but for Loganite and those in Cache Valley, it will be enough to satisfy them and will deter many of them from a drive to SLC....for me though who wanders aimlessly through these United States on business...this is more like a hole in the wall mammas' and pappas type alternative from Texas Roadhouse, Hamilton's and Cafe Sabor....

I am writing @ 6 AM the following morning and the results of my eatery are still plaguing my stomach....a little rough after consuming all that meat...something I have not ever experienced after eating at Rodizio...
Pricing...I think the $20/plate is just about right for what they want to grow into. I think $16.99 is more appropriate but for a Brazilian grill and the quantity of meat most over-eating americans will consume, $ 20 is a fair market price....

I'd prefer the drive to SLC for Rodizio, but my wife really liked the atmosphere, the costumes, the pleasant and gracious staff....for a very poor location and poor parking, this was a high B to B+ for me....I'd like to see how they fair with the lunch crowd....

Anyway..these are my $.02 fwiw....Gaucho's Grill - Logan Utah
