RUN
Great 4 days of running. First day absolutely crushed things. Then the next three days, i concentrated on MAF - 180 ppm - 41 + 5 = 144 BPM.

The interesting thing was I ran earlier and central park in New York was flooded with folks. My Thursday run was lonely but I appreciated it as I was working through some things on my fourth day of running 10k's. It was a good week.

Weekly Reflections and Focus
I really wanted to focus on more running this week as Liz had a tough weekend last week. Further, in listening to the podcast - Endurance Planet - Endurance Planet and one of the commentaries reminded me to make sure to take care of my family. Yes, I hear my wife, but I also needed to hear it and think it through and just step back a bit. THings are rapidly approaching and I'l be just fine.

We ran the Shamrock Shuffle 5k which is a local event here in Smithfield, Utah. This ia a fun race, wear green and its all of 4 dollars per person. This is our second year and I pushed Juniper. Its nice because quite a few friends of ours int he running community were there also and I was able to have a decent showing. I showed Liz my time from last year and time was dramatically better even running with our Little lady juniper.

Here some photos:

During the week in Central park I saw a lot of running groups and high activity. it was nice to see the park alive, but I also quite enjoyed the solitude of my late Thursday evening run also. It truly does feel like Ironman St George 70.3 is right around the corner. My swim today was good, and I broke it off at half so we could make it to the Shamrock run without any conflicts. I am finding that the activity is finally enjoying and I don't mind running as much as I used to. I have a working week next week but the Big East tournament is in town and I think it will also disrupt my runs due to hotel selections. Time will tell. i may come back and edit things.

I am where I want to be, now I need to keep moving and ready up for the 70.3 Ironman. here we go. keep at it.
